Advent Wreath Part One 2020 – Making the Wreath

On Sunday, 29th November, Advent Sunday, we celebrate the beginning of the Christian Year. During this season, the Church prepares Herself both for the celebration of Christ’s first coming in the nativity 2000 years ago, but also for His promised return at His Second Coming at the end of time.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions it is not possible to journey through Advent as we usually would. An Advent Wreath for your home can help focus your preparations.

This first video explains briefly the season of Advent and the symbolism the wreath. Then, on each Sunday during Advent, we will post further clips with prayers and reflections on those who prepared for Christ’s first coming.
